Rental Boat Safety Team
Rental Boat Safety ramps up boating safety content specific to rental customers in tandem with the 2022 Boating Season. In 2021, through the use of RentalBoatSafety.com’s educational boating safety resources, newsletters, social media tips, and more, the Rental Boat Safety Campaign reached over 1 million individuals, and then another 500,000 directly through the customers of active liveries in the RentalBoatSafety.com online community.
By partnering with like-minded organizations, the non-profit, funded by the Sports Fish Restoration and Boating Trust Fund, offers free vessel-specific boating safety resources customized for rental boat customers, rental agencies and fellow boating safety advocates. According to the U.S. Coast Guard’s 2021 Recreational Boating Statistics, boating accidents nationwide have decreased by 15.7% from the previous year.
RentalBoatSafety.com, recognized by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators as an Official NASBLA Seal of Safe Boating Practices, serves as a one-stop-shop for those planning to spend time on the water. Through the use of training video segments, resource kits, water safety-focused blogs and active social media channels, the campaign focuses on preparing rental customers for a safe rental experience. Rental Boat Safety invites boat rental agencies and boating safety organizations nationwide to partner with Rental Boat Safety this boating season to help rental customers have safe boating experiences.
