As the boating community gears up for the upcoming 2013 summer boating season, offers engaging training videos to encourage safe boating practices on the water., through the support and backing of the U.S. Coast Guard, offers this free product to specifically address the safety issues related to rental boat users on the waterways. The entertaining and informative videos provide a “refresher course” on safety for inexperienced and/or infrequent boaters.

The video-based online materials provided by not only cover topics such as basic navigation rules, towing, and lifejacket wear, but also teach inexperienced boaters the general operating procedures of various types of boats. The detailed training videos include operations of tiller-steeled fishing boats, wheel-steered fishing boats, pontoons and deck-boats, runabout and ski boats, and even houseboats. also addresses the safe use of personal watercraft (PWC’s) and paddle boats (such as canoes and kayaks).
