In order to generate interest and promote its educational rental boat safety training videos, RentalBoatSafety.com released a new promotional video to direct inexperienced and first-time boaters to its online resources.
The new video ad features television’s Michael Copon. The Chesapeake, Virginia native is well known for his various roles on television, playing characters on television shows such as Hawaii-Five O, CSI: Miami, That’s So Raven, and One Tree Hill.
In the short promotional clip, Copon tells viewers about the free and easily accessible safety information that is available at RentalBoatSafety.com. Copon prompts viewers to consider their knowledge of safe boating practices and how to prepare to spend a weekend on the water. At the end of the video, Copon encourages new boaters to visit the website at RentalBoatSafety.com, watch the safely videos and even test their knowledge.
Since the promo’s release on YouTube on January 11, 2013, the clip has received over 42,000 hits. The promotional video can be found on YouTube here.
The resources provided by RentalBoatSafety.com cover training and safety topics on general watercraft- operating procedures for full-size power boats, PWC’s and even paddle craft. Other topics include basic rules for navigation, towing and lifejacket wear. These materials are both informative and engaging and may be used to ensure safe and educated fun on the water.
